Our curator Karen Pollock looks forward to whats happening at TQ this month
In the UK February is LGBT History Month, and sees the return of our Queeroes strand. Who are your LGBTQ+ heroes, famous, or personal? Our curators will be introducing you to their Queeroes and get in touch if you have someone you believe should be celebrated and recognised.
Whether they are world-famous, or completely unknown, remembering those who came before us links us to our communities, our own history, and reminds us that we are where we are now because of the sacrifices of previous generations. This February we plan to celebrate their lives.
